In this context, the initiatives of K.O. for the next period, with a focus on the problems of accuracy and everyday life. According to the same update:

– We are proceeding with the resubmission of every current question, such as that concerning the dissolution of labor relations and the deregulation of work, every request for a special meeting of Committees and every request for a discussion before the agenda, requests that have not been satisfied during the last parliamentary term. The government must stop hiding and provide answers for major issues that concern Greek society.

– We are immediately submitting a proposal for a law on Culture. It is a 39-article law proposal that modernizes, deepens the protection of the social good of culture, shields the rights of workers across the spectrum of culture, promotes the academic completion of artistic studies and provides new, “smart” development financing tools for the support of cultural policy.

– We resubmit the SYRIZA-PS law proposal for the support of farmers through modern cooperative schemes. A proposal that is in line with the modern needs of the primary sector, the project of a new production model, while also strengthening and modernizing the non-negotiable social role of cooperative schemes.

Also in the context of the preparation of K.O. of SYRIZA – PS for the discussion of the State Budget for the year 2025, meetings of 2 groups of MPs will be held at the beginning of November, during which the relevant heads of departments will present the main axes of the Medium-Term and Draft Budget.

Based on the latter, it is clear that tax bleeding will continue, as VAT revenues, already increased by 53% from 2021, will increase again by 5%.
