The Committees on Transport and Tourism and Environment, Public Health and Food Safety will consider the suitability of the Greek commissioner-designate
Today at 19.30 (Greece time) the Committees on Transport and Tourism and Environment, Public Health and Food Safety of the European Parliament will examine the suitability of the Greek commissioner candidate, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, for the House of Commissioners and his portfolio.
The hearing is expected to last three hours, from 19.30 to 22.30 (Greece time). The commissioner-designate will have 15 minutes for an introductory statement, followed by questions from MEPs. Each political group will divide the time between its members participating in the hearing. The commissioner-designate will have twice the time for his answer than the time allotted for the question. Before the end of the approval hearing, he will also be able to make a brief closing statement.
When: The hearing will start today, Monday 4 November 2024 at 19.30 (Greece time).
Where: European Parliament in Brussels, József Antall building, room 4Q2.
Who: Members of the EP committees on Transport and Tourism, as well as members of the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety committees, can take oral questions.
