“Such is the desire or the need of some to eliminate Stefanos Kasselakis from SYRIZA-PS, that they do not hesitate in the name of the struggles of the Left (which the “ignorant Kasselakis” does not know”) to adopt practices that have been used throughout the ages by the worst opponents and her persecutors,” said the director of the political office of Stefanos Kasselakis, Manolis Kapnisakis.

As he said, “from the moment I assumed the duties of director of S. Kasselakis until today, I have rarely taken a public position. I did not express an opinion or make any statement, when the motion of no confidence against the legally elected President was upvoted by the K.E. and the party cut off our e-mail access from the very next morning and without even a formal notification. Similarly, I did not position myself publicly even when comrades with whom I had collaborated and fought, exposing the corruption of the Mitsotakis government during the period 2109-2023, launched against Stefanos Kasselakis and me personally, non-existent, slanderous and unfair accusations, in their attempt to possibly mitigate the responsibilities of their own actions and/or to gain an advantage in the intra-party race. Nor, also, did I publicly comment on the information that the OM Pagratiou, in which I have been elected as a delegate, is to be disqualified by the Legislators Legitimation Committee. However, today, I am forced to take a public position on an issue that goes far beyond all of us directly or indirectly involved in the internal party debates and the fate of the SYRIZA Congress. It is about the public statements of “comrades”, presidential candidates and non-presidential candidates, but also of the executives of the so-called “majority” of SYRIZA-PS about the risk of incidents and neither more nor less about the intention to commit criminal acts on the part of those who choose to protest their obstruction to participate in the Congress as elected delegates. In other words, if I, as an elected delegate, protest against my unfair exclusion, I will be considered a priori as a suspect of causing incidents that directly endanger the life, health and integrity of the “comrades My! The “comrades” who make these statements are perceived to be adopting the arguments and rhetoric that have been used throughout the ages by the most anti-democratic exponents of conservation to prevent any democratic protest from time to time and to effectively eliminate even this right to protest per se ?”.

He added that “those who accuse S. Kasselakis of not being able to serve the Left, let the delegates decide that. This is no longer a personal attack against Kasselakis and those who support him. This we have all proven to deal with with dignity, composure and stoicism. This is the embarrassing rant that sticks to an entire faction. “And if you cannot make your life the way you want it, at least try this as much as you can: don’t degrade it.”

His statement in detail:

From the moment I assumed the duties of director of S. Kasselakis until today, I have rarely taken a public position. I did not express an opinion or make any statement, when the motion of no confidence against the legally elected President was voted by the K.E. and the party suspended our access to e-mail from the very next morning and without even a formal update. Similarly, I did not position myself publicly even when comrades with whom I had collaborated and fought, exposing the corruption of the Mitsotakis government during the period 2109-2023, launched against Stefanos Kasselakis and me personally, non-existent, slanderous and unfair accusations, in their attempt to mitigate the responsibilities of their own actions and/or to gain an advantage in the intra-party race. Nor did I publicly comment on the information that the OM Pagratiou, in which I have been elected as a congressman, is to be disqualified by the Committee on the Legalization of Congressmen. However, today, I am forced to take a public position on an issue that far exceeds all of us directly or indirectly involved in the internal party debates and the fate of the SYRIZA Congress. It is about the public positions of “comrades”, presidential candidates and non-presidential candidates, but also of the executives of the so-called “majority” of SYRIZA-PS about the risk of incidents and neither more nor less about the intention to commit criminal acts on the part of those who choose to protest their obstruction to participate in the Congress as elected delegates. In other words, if I, as an elected delegate, protest against my unfair exclusion, I will be considered a priori as a suspect of causing incidents that directly endanger the life, health and integrity of the “comrades ” My! The “comrades” who make these statements are perceived to be adopting the arguments and rhetoric that the most anti-democratic exponents of conservation have used over time to prevent every democratic protest and to effectively eliminate even this right to protest per se ?
Such is the desire or the need of some to eliminate Stefanos Kasselakis from SYRIZA-PS, that they do not hesitate in the name of the struggles of the Left (which the “ignorant Kasselakis does not know”) to adopt practices that have been used throughout time by the worst opponents and persecutors of the type: “Those who protest are disturbing elements. Serious citizens are sitting in their homes”! Comrades and “comrades” let us all reflect on our historical responsibilities. Those of you who accuse S. Kasselakis of not being able to serve the Left, let the delegates decide.
