The bill, under the title “Reformation of the institution of the Personal Physician – Establishment of University Health Centers” seeks, among other things, to improve the health of the population

Under the new conditions created in the Parliament, the new split in SYRIZA, after the dissolution conference and the barrage of departures of Koumundouru MPs, the Prime Minister will be in the Parliament today in order to make his presence there even more emphatic, his attachment to the institutions and promoting government work. Knowing that the effectiveness and correspondence of words and projects are decisive for the citizens, who are waiting for solutions to their problems, the Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be placed from the floor of the Parliament on the bill of the Ministry of Health that establishes the personal doctor and adds another stone to the reform project of the government to upgrade the NHS, in which Kyriakos Mitsotakis personally believes and has invested.
The bill, under the title “Reformation of the institution of the Personal Physician – Establishment of University Health Centers” seeks, among other things, to improve the health of the population, with an emphasis on prevention, health care for all and the reduction of inequalities. Every citizen is also given the opportunity to register for free with a doctor in the area where they live, as the number of those who have the possibility to become personal doctors increases significantly, while for the first time financial incentives are given to new doctors.
The presence of the Prime Minister in Parliamentbut it will also be a good opportunity to draw once again the dividing lines that separate government policy and work, from the opposition, which even in such important bills that improve everyday life and the lives of citizens, chooses the sterile opposition, denial and populism, at the expense of progress, as government sources commented.
The parliamentary associations, as they tend to be formed after its new split SYRIZAwhich remove him from the institutional position of the official opposition, exacerbate the premature choice of Kyriakos Mitsotakis to make PASOK and Nikos Androulakis his main political opponent. A fact that is expected to be reflected in today’s position of the prime minister, after the confrontation caused by Harilaou Trikoupi’s initiative to table an amendment that includes the heavy and unhealthy staff of the National Health Service.
The prime minister will not leave this initiative unaddressed, which was targeted by the government, not for the substance of the regulation, but as yet another “populist” initiative of PASOK as he proceeded with a “priceless proposal”.
In fact, on the occasion of this move by PASOK, an attempt will be made to identify Harilaou Trikoupi’s opposition tactics with that of SYRIZA, which, according to the assessment of government officials, “is now paying for its unrestrained populism and sterile denial, without counter-proposals” yet and for the most favorable arrangements for citizens.
“Obviously, PASOK decided, because it sees that SYRIZA is in a state of disintegration, not to mention dissolution, to take over the role that SYRIZA had until now and submit amendments or proposals, which do not tell us how much they cost “commented the government representative Pavlos Marinakis, at the same time addressing two questions to the seats of PASOK “How much does what the PASOK? And once we find out how much it costs, let PASOK tell us where we have to cut so that this amendment can be voted and implemented,” he noted.
