The candidate for the president of SYRIZA-PS, Sokratis Famellos, speaks of the perennial existence of a plan to discredit and distort SYRIZA-PS
“The developments of the last few days confirm that there was and is a plan to discredit and corrupt SYRIZA-PS”, underlines the candidate president of SYRIZA-PS, Sokratis Famellos.
“Stefanos Kasselakis was not simply inadequate and unsuitable for president of SYRIZA-PS. He aimed to build an IX party to serve his personal interests. And when he was deemed insufficient, he attacked the party and tried to dissolve it in order to create his own”, he notes and adds:
“However and wherever this plan was structured, the latest developments are eye-opening to even the most skeptics. Because now their goal is the position of official opposition. And it is obvious that some interests, political and financial, benefit from this plan – which is still evolving. Because they think they will get rid of SYRIZA-PS, the only political force that can spoil their plans. And they want the old convenient two-party system and a wild card party, to serve the plans of Mr. Mitsotakis and the entanglement he serves.”
“But they calculate without the hotelier. Whatever the news reports and opinion polls say, the ruling people always have the final say. And the system is afraid of the people, because it can spoil their plans. As he has done in the past”, emphasizes S. Famellos.
“SYRIZA-PS is and will remain here, because it expresses the social need and not the interests of mothers. The popular mandate is for SYRIZA-PS to have the role of the official opposition and those who have other plans are working against the social good”, he adds and concludes:
“An answer to all of the above will be the participation of his members and friends in the polls for the election of president on November 24, because the stake is the existence of SYRIZA-PS. Of our common home. Let no one and no one be missing.”
