We are building the infrastructure for a digital future and we are giving incentives so that every citizen, every business has access to high broadband speeds, thus improving Greece’s position in the international ranking, says Mr. Mitsotakis
With a new video on TikTok, the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, gives clarifications about the Gigabit Voucher program Through which 379,000 households and small and medium-sized businesses will acquire ultra-high speed connections.
“Are you tired of trying to download pictures of Pinat and your Internet is stuck?” Kyriakos Mitsotakis asks at the beginning of the video and then explains what is true about the voucher worth 200 euros.
“We are building the infrastructure for a digital future and we are giving incentives so that every citizen, every business has access to high broadband speeds, thus improving Greece’s position in the international ranking”, he says.
Mr. Mitsotakis’ comment in detail:
Tired of trying to download Peanuts pictures and your internet crashing? It’s not an ad. It is an announcement and a pleasant one at that. It concerns the Gigabit Voucher program through which 379,000 households and small and medium-sized businesses will acquire ultra-high-speed connections. All beneficiaries will receive without income criteria a voucher worth 200 euros to cover a large part of the cost of acquiring the Gigabit service of at least 250Mbps for both the initial connection and the monthly subscription of the first 24 months.
In conjunction with the Smart Readiness Vouchers program for the installation of optical fiber in 120,000 buildings, we are building the infrastructure for a digital future and giving incentives so that every citizen, every business has access to high broadband speeds, thus improving Greece’s position in the international ranking.
