The investment opportunities presented in Greece, Artificial Intelligence and government policies and the upgrading of Greek-British relations in the meeting that the Prime Minister will have with his British counterpart Sir Keir Starmerare the focus of his visit Kyriakou Mitsotakis at London.

The workshop is organized for the needs of the Greek government and it is expected that specific proposals will be submitted for issues of highest priority for Greece with the help of AI, such as Health, Climate Crisis, Civil Protection, Employment. The Prime Minister will have the opportunity to present the national plan for Greece’s transition to Artificial Intelligence, delivered to him a few days ago by the Advisory Committee on Artificial Intelligence.

Meeting Keir Starmer

Kyriakos Mitsotakis (Tuesday morning, December 3) will meet in Downing Street with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at a critical geopolitical juncture for the West and amid escalation on the Ukraine front.

The meeting is an opportunity to restart and upgrade bilateral relations at all levels, while emphasis is expected to be placed on cooperation in the fields of Shipping, research and innovation and Tourism (the United Kingdom is the second most important tourist market for Greece ).

Migration is also expected to be on the agenda of the discussion, as Greece is recognized as a successful example, especially in guarding and protecting the borders, as well as the coordination of the two countries in view of Greece’s term as a non-permanent member of the Security Council during the two years of 2025 -26.

The two leaders will also discuss issues of regional and international interest with an emphasis on the latest developments in the Middle East and the escalation on the Ukraine front, as well as Euro-British relations.

As for the request to reunite the Parthenon Sculptures, this is an ongoing request that is being discussed with the British Museum.
