The new president of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yiannis Bratakos, referred to the challenges and opportunities of Greek entrepreneurship, but also to the importance of the close cooperation between the State and the Chamber to support businesses, in the meeting he had today with the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

In a post on social media, Mr. Bratakos says:

“I had the honor today to meet with the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, a few days after the completion of the EBEA elections. We discussed the challenges and opportunities of Greek entrepreneurship, but also the importance of close cooperation between the State and the Chamber to support businesses.

Since 2019, the Greek economy has seen significant improvement: a decrease in unemployment, an increase in investment and the creation of a more friendly business environment. The stability and reforms of recent years have laid the foundations for dynamic growth. We must rely on them to run even faster. EBEA, with its institutional role, will be at the forefront, submitting proposals and promoting solutions that will support businesses, strengthen competitiveness and contribute to the formation of an economic environment that promotes entrepreneurship.”
