Pessimism about the developments on the international fronts – The assessments about the developments in PASOK and SYRIZA – How are the actions of Antonis Samaras judged
The intense concern of Greek citizens about international developments, mainly on the fronts of Ukraine and the Middle East, is highlighted by the great Pulse pollwhich was carried out on behalf of SKAI and was presented on the station’s main news bulletin, with Sia Kosioni.
The Pulse poll also shows the intentions of the electorate after the processes in PASOK and SYRIZAas well as the deletion of Antonis Samaras from the New Democracy parliamentary group.
New Democracy seems to remain at a percentage of around 30%, maintaining a significant difference from the second PASOK, of the order of 13% in the reduction of undecideds. SYRIZA seems to be forming its forces around 8%, now occupying the 5th place in voter preferences, behind KKE and Hellenic Solution. Of interest is the “battle” at 5% between Plefsis Eleftherias, Zoe Konstantopoulos, Voice of Logic, Katerina Latinopoulos and the Democracy Movement, Stefanos Kasselakis. Niki appears above the 3% limit, while Yanis Varoufakis’ MeRA 25 is at 2.5%. Below the limit, with no prospect of entering the Parliament, are the Spartans and the New Left.
Pessimism about international developments and war fronts
The developments at the international level deeply concern the Greeks, as the fronts in Ukraine and the Middle East seem unlikely to be resolved.
7 out of 10 respondents said they are concerned by international developments, while 8 out of 10 believe the situation will remain the same or worsen in 2025.
Controversy about Greek-Turkish
Similar are the percentages of concern in the Greek-Turkish language, especially regarding Turkey’s latest moves in the general context.
The assessment… of the movements of Antonis Samaras
As far as internal news is concerned, the respondents were indifferent or negative about the actions of Antonis Samaras, the consequence of which was his removal from the New Democracy parliamentary group.
The estimates for SYRIZA
The new day in SYRIZA with the election of Sokratis Famellos to the position of president, does not seem to have – so far – caused a reversal of the climate.

The changes in the parliamentary landscape after the departures from SYRIZA, after years, returned PASOK to the position of official opposition. How much does this development concern the electorate?
