The Minister of Citizen Protection, M. Chrysochoidis, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Citizen Protection, Andreas Nikolakopoulos and the Chief of the Greek Police, Lieutenant General Dimitrios Mallios.

The Political and Physical leadership of the Greek Police was welcomed by the General Police Director of Attica, Major General Ioannis Skouras, while then Mr. Minister, addressed via radio the wishes to police officers who welcomed 2025 while on duty:

“I wish you all a happy birthday, a happy new year.

Be healthy, strong, happy, you and your families.

We owe you a big thank you because at these times, when all Greeks and the whole planet are celebrating the entry of the new year, you are working.

For that you deserve great praise, you deserve our gratitude and be sure that we will always repay you in the best possible way.

I wish you health, strength, happiness. Be well, everyone.”

Afterwards, the Chief of the Greek Police took the floor, wishing the police officers:

“Happy birthday to all, happy new year.

May you and your people have health, strength, happiness.

Thank you very much for what you are doing tonight, serving and protecting the Greek state, Greek society.

Your work is important and we are grateful.

You have our undivided support, our thoughts and our love.

Have a good rest of your shift, best wishes for a happy year.”
