Both in both the first and second vote, the ND proposed, for the Supreme State Axis, Konstantinos Tasoulas had received 160 votes, the PASOK-Motor Change, Tasos Giannitsis, 34 votes, proposed by SYRIZA , Lucas Katseli 40 votes, and the proposed by Mr. Niki, Mr. Kyriakou 14 votes.

In the first vote, 297 MPs had voted and 49 “present” were recorded, while in the second vote, all 300 MPs had voted and 52 “present” were recorded.

In the first and second voting it was required to have a majority of 200 Members, the third vote provides a majority of 3/5, ie 180 Members.

In the event that it is not achieved, a fourth vote will be held after five days (on 12 February) and will be elected President of the Republic, one who will collect the absolute majority of the entire number of MPs (151).

If, after all, this majority is not reached, the vote will be repeated after five days and will be elected President of the Republic by a relevant majority.
