PASOK’s proposal to set up a pre -trial committee, parliamentary sources of the New Democracy, responding to PASOK’s proposal, stating that they will vote, however, noting that they will not tolerate PASOK’s slander.

In particular, the same sources report:

1) Focusing to the revelation of truth and because we do not have to fear or conceal the slightest, we vote in favor of the proposal for the establishment of a pre -trial committee, proving in practice that we will not tolerate PASOK’s slander for allegedly “concealment”.

2) In no case does this mean that we are drawn up with the content of the proposal. It is clear that this particular move by PASOK is part of his desperate attempt to tool the tragedy of Tempi for cheap political games.

3) Today we have learned from PASOK’s proposal that the infamous “concealment” of Triantopoulos is not based on any testimony, command or other element but consists of simple participation in an “informal meeting” and the provision of “mental assistance” to competent officials.

4) PASOK’s rush to submit the proposal for pre -trial proceedings shows that his leadership is not interested in seeking truth and rendering justice but is part of an internal opposition competition over who will prevent who.

5) PASOK’s complaints about the allegedly concealment of the supplementary evidence of the case by the former Speaker of the House, when even Syriza MPs, such as Ms. Gerovasilis and Mr Kokkalis, said they had been aware of all the supplementary information. And yet PASOK, instead of apologizing for its negligence, preferred to launch an attack on the former Speaker of Parliament with untrue allegations.

6) So all in light, the truth will shine in the House and at the same time fully revealing the plan of the tooling and political exploitation of the tragedy by PASOK and its companions.
