Bilateral relations, cooperation within the European Union, as well as international policy issues, will be at the center of talks tomorrow in Berlin by Chancellor Friedrich Mertz and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The prime minister will find a “great understanding” on the issue of immigration, the German government spokesman said.

According to the announcement by government spokesman Stefan Cornelius, Mr Mitsotakis will be held (at 13:00 Greece) with military prices in the Chancellor, while the joint press conference is scheduled for 14:30 (Greek time).

Answering a question about whether the migration will deal with tomorrow’s conversations, Mr Cornelius said that “The issue of immigration will probably play a role in all talks with our European neighbors, allies and friends, and therefore in talks with Mr. Mitsotakis“, To add: ‘PI am equal to that in relations between Germany and Greece there is extensive experience in this context. I believe that in general, in recent days we have done a lot in our communication with European neighbors on the issue of immigration. The Minister of the Interior, as well as the Chancellor in his conversations always referred to the matter, so he will be in his talks with the Greek Prime Minister.

Asked if Mr Mitsotakis may be waiting for a “greater understanding” of Mr Mertz, with whom they belong to the same political family in the European Union, Stefan Cornelius expressed the conviction that “The Greek Prime Minister will find a great understanding“He stressed that” German immigration policy will be “resolved” in harmony with European neighbors, as predicted by European immigration agreements and as it was possible to communicate the new German government “with them.
