His resignation from the position of Deputy Minister of Digital Government was proceeded yesterday by Christos Boukoros, following the filing of the case file for OPEKEPE to Parliament.

Speaking on SKAI television on Saturday, Magnesia MP Mr Boukoros stressed that “it did not damage the OEKEPE for a single euro”.

He added that he had conveyed a request for a patient for a small producer to extend his control, a request not met, was cut off and was fined.

Continuing, he reiterated that his phone call did not damage OPEKEPE and pointed out that he had resigned to not be part of a problematic picture with which he had nothing to do with.

In addition, he said that what is released are fragmented.

Does not give up a Member of Parliament

The incident happened as he said in 2021, a period of a Member of Parliament and the case was recorded by a Greek prosecutor because his behavior was not criminalized.

Asked if he would resign as a Member, he replied that the seat could only grant it to his fellow citizens, adding that there is no such issue because his case was judged by both the Greek and the European Prosecutor that his case does not need his own investigation.
