Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias had a brief meeting with his Turkish counterpart on the sidelines of the NATO Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Brussels.
According to a tweet from the Foreign Ministry, Nikos Dendias and Mevlüt Tsavousoglu discussed the situation in Ukraine after the Russian invasion.

Arriving at the NATO summit, Nikos Dendias announced that Athens will request from the International Court of Justice in The Hague an independent investigation into the investigation of war crimes in Mariupol.
In particular, Mr. Dendias stated: “Greece will ask the International Court of Justice in The Hague to investigate war crimes committed in Mariupol. Greece has a special interest in Mariupol, due to the Greek community of over 100,000 people there. In addition, I will ask my counterparts in Alliance do their best to help Ukraine and protect Odessa, so that the Odessa not to have the fate of Mariupol “.
