Economou for Tsipras: Actions count, not bold and irresponsible words |

by

Government Spokesman Giannis Oikonomou responded to the post of the leader of the official opposition.

“Throughout the pandemic, Mr Tsipras has been investing in disaster, hoping to reap political benefits. No suggestions, with lies and aphorisms. In November 2020, he accused the prime minister of “selling hope, saying that he has secured a vaccine that has not yet been discovered for free.”

Until very recently, his party undermined vaccination. Today, without a single proposal for vaccination, he accuses the government of fighting with scientists to return life to its full potential.

We wonder does Mr. Tsipras want an inclusive society? With substandard economic activity? With schools and universities closed? This is his proposal to the more than 6,500,000 Greeks who have been vaccinated.

The government, responsibly and with a plan, is organizing the country’s defense against the pandemic that is raging again across Europe. The more unvaccinated we are, the more intensely we will deal with it. That is why the vaccination program is continued and extended with the administration of the 3rd dose. We are multiplying the capacity and the efficiency of the NSS, which was handed over to us unsecured. We are ready to access the drugs that science will approve. “Mr. Tsipras’ opportunism does not concern us because actions are what count and not bold and irresponsible words.”
