The main goal of the Athletes Committee of EAOM-Disabled is the further development of the sports movement of athletes with disabilities, by undertaking many different initiatives that will help in this direction.

Christos Koromilas, a member of the Board of Directors of EAOM-Disabled, was appointed Coordinator of the Athletes Committee.

The aim of EAOM-Disabled, through the formation of the Athletes Committee, was the widest and most objective representation of all sports in it, something that was achieved, after all the candidacies were gathered first.

Stefanos Diamantis is a big protagonist in the Panhellenic Wheelchair Tennis Championship

Co-organized by the Region of Crete, the National Athletic Federation of Persons with Disabilities organized the Panhellenic Wheelchair Tennis Championship at the “Lyttos Beach Tennis Academy”, in the Heraklion Peninsula.

The only representative of Greek wheelchair tennis at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, Stefanos Diamantis, won the title for the eighth consecutive event, prevailing in the final of Konstantinos Dialektopoulos, while, with teammate Rafael Patronidis in second place.

The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Eva Simiaki (Vice President of EAKI) as a representative of the Deputy Minister of Sports, Lefteris Avgenakis, the President of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee and member of the Board of EAOM-AmeA, George Kapellakis, Secretary General of the EP. Christos Tzamousis, and the head of public relations of EAOM-AmeA, Antonis Papadakis.
