Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos have left behind whatever rivalry they had as Barcelona and Real Madrid players, respectively.
This was evident last year – their first – year as team-mates at Paris Saint-Germain, but the atmosphere in the French team’s ranks was captured by the Argentine star’s brilliant move towards the Spanish centre-back.
Christophe Gaultier’s debut in the first pre-season friendly against Ligue 2 side Rouen was highly positive, after the French champions won 2-0 in their first few days of work for the new season.
However, what surprised people on social media was the act of altruism on the part of Messi, who won a penalty in the 33rd minute of the friendly match and left it to Ramos who hit the target and together they won the applause of their teammates.
