She immediately said: “I am very happy, excited. I set a personal record after a long time and I can’t describe how great it feels.

First race I wasn’t nervous at all, I went to enjoy it, it was the last race of the season. It went very well, I couldn’t have done anything better and I am very happy.

Each athlete makes his own effort. Now Greece has reached very good performances and I am very happy to be one of them”.

This was the second Gold medal for her Hellas at the European Youth Olympic Festival, after Yannis Gartsiu who took the Gold in the triple jump.
