The Greek tennis player revealed how much his game has been influenced by the legendary tennis player and said goodbye to him in a lengthy post.

I can’t thank you enough for being the reason I started playing tennis. The reason I’m backhanding with one hand today. The reason I first dreamed, watching you lift Wimbledon in 2004.
To make someone your fan is not enough to beat them, but to beat them with level and style. These can be in the dictionary because of you.
