The draw for the Women’s Handball Cup

The draw for the Women’s Handball Cup for the 2022-23 competition season took place today (16/11) at the offices of the Hellenic Handball Federation and the 14 teams that declared participation in this year’s event learned the route they will follow until the final four, the which is scheduled for the weekend of February 4-5.

It is recalled that the nine teams that continue in A1 after the departure of Philip Verias (Nea Ionia, PAOK, Panorama, AESH Pylaia, Anagennisi Artas, AEK, GAS Kamaterou, Orfeas Sourotis, AOAOD Korydallos) will take part in the Cup, as well as five clubs from A2 (M. Alexandros Giannitsson, Athenaikos, Zafeirakis Naoussa, Elpides Amyntaiou and Orfeas Katerinis).

The couples resulting from the relevant draw are as follows:

1st ROUND (3-4/12/2022)

Orfeas Katerinis – PAOK

Zafirakis Naoussa – Panorama

AESH Pylaia – AAOAD Korydallos

M. Alexandros Giannitsson – Renaissance of Arta

Hopes of Amyntaio – AEK

* Athinaikos and GAS Kamaterou advanced to the 2nd round without a match.
