Open TV, cable TV, streaming, YouTube: find out where to watch the World Cup games

by

The Qatar World Cup will be shown in Brazil on open TV, closed TV, streaming and YouTube.

Grupo Globo is the main holder of the rights and, with Galvão Bueno at the head of the team of narrators, it will show 56 of the 64 games in the competition on open TV.

Globo will not only broadcast some games of the final round of the group stage that take place simultaneously with others.

Those who subscribe to packages with SporTV channels will be able to follow all the matches of the first World Cup in the Middle East. The same is offered to subscribers of the Globoplay digital platform (streaming).

As Globo does not have exclusive rights to broadcast on digital media, there will be an additional option for football fans to follow the Cup.

Influencer Casimiro Miguel, known as Cazé, in an agreement between his partner LiveMode and FIFA, will be able to show 22 games on a YouTube channel (CazéTV), including the matches of the Brazilian team and the final, on December 18th.

On video, he stated that negotiations were underway for the matches to also be available on Twitch (live video streaming), but there was no confirmation until this Friday (18).

In the group stage, which runs from November 20 to December 2, there are days when four matches will be played, and the times (from Brasilia) are 7am, 10am, 1pm and 4pm.

The Brazilian team will play against Serbia, on the 24th of this month, and against Cameroon, on December 2nd, at 4 pm. Against Switzerland, they enter the field earlier, at 13:00.
