After the 2-0 victory over Mexico, this Saturday (26), in Group C of the World Cup in Qatar, the Argentine players celebrated a lot in the locker room of the Lusial stadium. They sang the song that is usually sung by fans as a provocation when they face Brazil, whether in team or club games.
A video of the celebration was posted on the social networks of Argentinos Jrs, a club in the Argentine first division. It was also posted on the Instagram of defender Otamendi, from the national team.
The song recalls Maradona and also the 2021 Copa America final, when Argentina defeated Brazil 1-0 in the final at Maracanã.
“Because at Maracanã, in the final against the Brasucas, daddy won again”, says the provocative passage to Brazil.
The victory in the 2021 Copa América ended a 28-year fast for the Argentine national team without titles.
