Officially announced the lineup of Brazil for the match against Cameroon, the expectation of a reserve team was confirmed. With the yellow and green team qualified in advance for the round of 16 of the World Cup, Tite decided to rest the starters.

The game will start at 4 pm (Brasília time) this Friday (2), at the Lusail stadium, in Lusail. The Brazilian line-up is as follows: Ederson; Daniel Alves, Éder Militão, Bremer and Alex Telles; Fabinho, Fred, Antony and Martinelli; Rodrygo and Gabriel Jesus.

In order not to depend on the result of the confrontation between Switzerland and Serbia, which play at the same time, Brazil needs a draw to confirm the leadership of Group G. With the first position of the key, it will face South Korea in the round of 16, in the next Monday (3).

While closing its participation in the first phase, the selection awaits the recovery of important players. Right-back Danilo, left-back Alex Sandro and striker Neymar are out of action in the third round of the World Cup.

Neymar’s situation is the most worrying. The number 10 suffered an injury to his right ankle in the selection’s debut, in a 2-0 victory over Serbia, and has been undergoing treatment. He is seen as a doubt for the start of the knockout clashes.
