The World Cup on Monday (5th) put a smile on the Brazilian’s face again. With a 4-1 defeat of South Korea, Brazil is qualified for the quarterfinals. The opponent will be Croatia, who beat Japan with penalties.
On Tuesday (6), the knockout continues with two games a day (see list below🇧🇷 The two departures take place at 12:00 and at 16:00. At the end of each day of the event, the Sheet publishes the summary and statistics of the games, such as shots on goal, ball possession and other numbers.

Despite pressing from start to finish, Japan lost to Croatia on penalties. With the 3-1 victory, after 1-1 in normal time and overtime, Croatia and advanced to the quarterfinals. It was not the first narrow victory for the European team. At the Russian World Cup, the Croatians eliminated Denmark (round of 16) and Russia (quarter-finals) on penalties and England (semi-final) in extra time.

Brazil vs South Korea
With the opening 45 minutes of gala and the return of Neymar, Brazil ran over South Korea, thrashed them 4-1 and easily reached the quarterfinals. Next Friday (9), they face Croatia, at the Cidade da Educação stadium, to go to the semifinal and have a potential confrontation with Argentina.
