Right-back Daniel Alves manifested himself on Friday (9) and this Saturday (10) on social networks, after the elimination of the Brazilian national team in the World Cup in Qatar – defeat to Croatia on penalties. First, the player published a letter of thanks to coach Tite, who left the command of the team after the fall in the World Cup. Afterwards, he did the same for striker Neymar.

The player says he wouldn’t change anything on the “last trip” they took, which is the trip to the World Cup, and wishes the coach luck. “May you have the peace that I will also take with me, the peace of duty fulfilled and mission accomplished”, says an excerpt from the letter.

For Neymar, Daniel Alves put a photo along with the message and wrote that Neymar “has a mission here on Earth”.

“Pain, like happiness, are fleeting, but our mission is not to allow pain to be more than happiness”, says the letter’s excerpt.

At the age of 39, Daniel Alves played against South Korea, in the round of 16, his last match for the Brazilian national team and became the oldest player to play for Brazil in World Cups.

Read Daniel Alves’ message to Tite:

Dear Adenor, I write you this message here to thank you for everything you have done for this dear group all these years.

This hug is the purest meaning of what you represent to me and to this group of special human beings.

Special for their particularities, for their character, for their humility and above all for the stories of overcoming difficulties and for the great souls that exist behind the small screen.

There are medals that you don’t put on your chest but on your soul and this is one.

Thank you for teaching us how to be men, country, children, friends, brothers and human beings… it may be that, in today’s times, it has no value, or it may be that there are still beings who still believe how valuable it is is important.

This is our last trip here and I can tell you; I would not change a thing.

I wish you all the wonderful and purest things in this life and the next.

May you have the peace that I will also take with me: the peace of duty done and mission accomplished.

The result of a game will never change the score of our lives.

All this time dedicated body and soul brings the peace that makes us follow our paths of struggle and glory.

And yes, this is an open letter not only for you to read, but for everyone to know that your values are not and will never be measured in debates.

With great affection and respect, thank you for all these years together to represent the best country in the world.

Read the letter written by the winger to striker Neymar.

I put this image first because that’s how I always want to remember you and I want everyone to remember you that way too.

You are an example of a Brazilian who came out of nowhere and conquered more than he dreamed of.

Crying is part of the process, but smiling is what reminds us that every sacrifice we made was worth it.

Many times the trophy makes many people mistaken, thinking that they are better than the others because they won… but no, they don’t know that this is just a distraction that continually feeds their egos.

Winning for me, who is considered the greatest winner in the history of this sport, means inspiring people, just like you, @neymarjr, do.

The greatest trophies of our lives will always be the people we manage to impact in this society through our example.

That’s why GOD gave us our gift.

You are not only committed to football, you are committed to your mission here on earth…. Run it wisely.

Pain, like happiness, is fleeting, but our mission is not to allow pain to be more than happiness… even if momentarily, but life is made of moments.

Let it hurt, let it pass and go back to your mission!!

I love your heart my brother.

The social network is to be able to show what we want people to know about us, without lies or guesses.
