Kely Nascimento, one of Pelé’s daughters, shared again, this Wednesday (28), photos on social networks with the King’s family. In the image, she appears alongside Flavia Arantes do Nascimento, his sister, and nephews Gabriel Arantes and Octavio Felinto Neto.
They are the children of Sandra Regina, who died in 2006 as a result of breast cancer. Sandra had Pelé’s paternity recognized by Justice in the 1990s and was not close to her father.
“These moments are difficult to explain. Sometimes, a lot of sadness and despair, at other times we laugh and talk about fun memories. And what we learn most from all of this is that we have to look for each other, and hold each other very close. that everything is worth it. With everyone together”, Kely wrote in the caption of this Wednesday’s photo.
There is no new information about the King’s health in the publication. The last photo published by Kely was at Christmas, with brothers and sisters, at the Albert Einstein hospital, in São Paulo, where Pelé is hospitalized.
The former player’s son, Edinho, after spending Christmas with his family in the hospital, returned to Paraná to lead training at Londrina, where he is a coach. On Tuesday (27), the coach accompanied the athletes during the day and carried out the work in person.

Also on Thursday, Pelé will complete a month of hospitalization. On November 29, the former player attended the hospital to reassess his chemotherapy treatment against colon cancer and to investigate a respiratory infection he had.
The stay was extended and, on December 3, Pelé stopped responding to chemotherapy treatments, starting to be under exclusive palliative care. From that moment on, chemotherapy was suspended and he began to receive only comfort measures, to relieve pain and discomfort.
His health status has worsened, as disclosed in a hospital bulletin last Wednesday (21). According to the text, Pelé needs care related to kidney and heart dysfunction.
