Skriniar’s agent: “Inter decided to sell him in the summer – He doesn’t want to renew”

A series of reports indicate that Milan Skriniar is ready to join the roster of Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window for 20 million euros.

The Slovakian defender’s agent, however, claimed that it was Inter’s decision to offload his client last summer, long before he turned down a renewal offer…

“The decision to sell Skriniar came from Inter, not the player. Our negotiations have been suspended and we have been informed of this. Before Christmas, I told the management that we do not accept the proposal made to us.” It is clear that he wants to continue his career in another team,” Roberto Sistici told Marca.

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly approached the Nerazzurri for Skriniar in the summer, but they showed no inclination to offload him to the French club at the time.

On the contrary, Inter offered the 27-year-old international stopper a three-year extension of his contract, which expires next summer, an increase in his salary to eight million euros and the anointing of the captain, on a permanent basis.
