THE Fernando Santos is officially the new coach of the Polish national team, with the 68-year-old technician signing until 2026!
The experienced coach made his first statements and stated that he is now one of the Poles and emphasized that his desire is to win every game.
“From today I am a Pole, I am one of you. We will do everything to bring joy to the Poles
For me it is very important to do in Poland what I have done in the past. I want to leave a legacy, something for the future. The world of football is changing and I want to lay the foundations for a new future for the Polish national team.
I want to win everything. I didn’t come here to lose. I don’t like the word defeat, I don’t accept it. My ambition is to win every game.

I will communicate with the players in English. On the field, in training, in our meetings. I already learned some Polish words, hopefully in a little while I will have learned more.
