According to information that has come to our attention, EPO is in advanced contacts with UEFA in order to host a final match of a European competition in Greece which the Federation intends to organize in a newly built stadium.
It is astonishing how the Federation can proceed with such initiatives in secret from Greek football and that no real consultation has taken place between EPO, professional football and the Greek State to select the best candidate that will meet the specifications of such a match and will not expose the country internationally.
We assume that you understand better than anyone that the holding of such an important match as a European Cup final is accompanied by very high demands regarding the stadium that will host the particular game, especially regarding the security conditions both in the facility itself and and in the surrounding areas.
Equally important are the terms of access and attendance at the stadium, the possibility of approaching by means of public transport, etc.
