Donovan was born in Shelbyville, Kentucky, USA, on May 25, 1992, where he started basketball, having very good statistics and distinctions with the city’s high school (Shelby County Rockets, 2010). Played with Wabash Valley College in the NJCAA College Championship and then with Kentucky Wesleyan College (KWC Panthers) in the NCAA, posting very high stats in many categories (2012-13, 2013-14 scoring, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals) .
In Europe he played in the 2020-21 season with Manchester Giants in the UK, the following year in France with Bordeaux and this season he played with Newcastle Eagles in the UK’s first division in 14 matches, averaging 21.5 ? participation, 7.2 points, 90% shooting, 51.4% 2-pointers, 25% 3-pointers and 4.6 rebounds.
