On Thursday, the apology for Atromitos-AEK: Peristeriotes are also threatened with deducting points

Fearless and AEK were summoned by the sports judge for the events that led to the non-holding of Sunday’s match in Peristeri. The procedure will take place on Thursday at 13:30, at the Primary Single Member Disciplinary Body.

The home team is called regarding the conditions that were deemed irregular for the match and based on the articles that have been called they are also threatened with a deduction of 3 points, in addition to losing the game on paper as being at fault for not playing it as home team. One of the articles for which AEK is called, 15 4a, concerns the entry of fans into the playing field, but since the “yellow and black” had not bought tickets, probably refers to the presence of some unaccredited ones on the playing field.

The decision is expected immediately, i.e. probably on Fridaywhile there is a right of appeal that will be heard by the competent committee of the EPO, with the case even reaching the International Sports Court of Lausanne.

In any case, the case cannot take too long, since it is recalled that the regular season of the league ends on March 12 and then the rating should be validated before the start of the playoffs and play outs. And the fate of this particular match is important both for the AEK and Atromitos standings, and possibly for whether Peristeriotes will play in the playoffs or in the play outs.

At the same time, PAOK, Panathinaikos and OFI were called to apologize for the games with Olympiakos, Lamia and PAS Ioannina respectively. The goalkeeper coach and partner of Valdas Dabrauskas, Gasiunas, was also invited from the Heraklion team.
