Stoiximan Super League: PAOK the hardest, AEK, Olympiacos the easiest

by

Lamia-OFI

Lamia and OFI will meet for the seventh time in their history in the Stoiximan Super League and for the eighth time in all competitions. The Crete team has a positive tradition, having lost just two of their eight games there.

2-1 is the favorite score of the two teams in the matches that have taken place in Lamia, since four of the six have ended with this score and concern two victories of Lamia and two of OFI. There is still the 1-1 draw in the first leg between them and a 2-0 OFI win on 8 May 2021.

Lamia has just one win in this year’s league, beating Levadeaikos at home 1-0 on October 1, 2022 and since then has gone 15 matches without a win, seven of which have been at home.

Asteras Tripoli-PAOK

This will be the 20th meeting between Asteras and PAOK in Arcadia.

The Tripoli team in the first years of its presence in the Stoiximan Super League had created a positive tradition against PAOK and in fact as a newcomer, in 2007-08, prevailed in both matches. Initially in his stadium with 2-0 and in the Second Round in Toumba with 1-0.

2-1 is the favorite score of the two teams, having appeared in six of the 19 games, with three wins for Asteras Tripolis by this score and three more for PAOK. The team of Arcadia, however, has won four times with 1-0, while PAOK has one with this score.

Two of their three draws have been 1-1, with the lone 0-0 coming on 11 September 2010, and since then there have been goals in all of their meetings.

AEK-Levadiakos

Levadeiakou’s absence from the A’ Ethniki/Stoiximan Super League until 2005-06 puts the last meeting between the two teams in New Philadelphia on March 19, 1995, when AEK prevailed 4-0 and had as scorers Tsiarta, Kostis , Saravako and Agorogiannis.

AEK had kept the absolute in its first eleven games with Levadeiakos and had the same number of victories and even with the Viotia team not finding a goal in five of them.

AEK counts nine consecutive games with a victory regardless of home and competition against Levadeiakos, who has not even managed to score in this series of games.

AEK usually finds big scores against Levadeiakos and it is characteristic that only one of the 14 victories is 1-0. The most popular is 4-0 with three appearances.

Olympiakos-Panitolikos

Olympiacos will host Panaitolikos at home for the 13th time and so far has the same number of victories.

In fact, the Red and Whites have never been defeated by the Agrinio team at the A’ National/Stoiximan Super League level, since they have 10 wins and 3 draws away from home in 13 matches.

Olympiacos are unbeaten for more than a round of the league, after 13 games have passed since the match against PAOK, where they were defeated 2-1 at the Karaiskakis Stadium.

Panaitolikos has scored four victories away from home in this year’s championship, while they have just two at home. His record is from last year (2021-22), the five away from home.
