Lamia-Olympiakos
Olympiacos has won in all five of its visits to Lamia and maintains the absolute with the Fthiotida team, having only lost in the 11 total encounters that the two teams have in both seats for the Stoiximan Super League.
Olympiacos has prevailed with five different scores in its victories, while the 6-0 of the 2020-21 season is the widest with six different scorers.
The two teams have also faced each other many times in the Cup, where they have drawn four times and Lamia in the first two series of matches had three defeats in the same number of games, while in 2018-19 they eliminated Olympiakos in the quarter-finals with a draw in the home match and victory inside the Karaiskaki stadium. The following season, again for the quarter-finals, Olympiacos qualified with a goalless draw in Lamia and a 3-2 victory in Piraeus.
Lamia’s run of 15 matches without a win in the league has equaled their negative record set with matches between the end of the 2019-20 season and the beginning of 2020-21.
Pan-Etolic-Ionian
The team of Agrinio and Ionikos have just one match between them in the Stoiximan Super League with Panaitolikos as their home team.
Then followed three matches with host Ionikos in which there was a victory for each team and their draw this year for the First Round of this year’s championship.
The two teams also have a rich history in the Second National Championship, where they met for the first time in 1966-67, with each winning the game played at home without conceding a goal. Panaitolikos, however, has a clearly better harvest at home with 9 wins in ten matches, while Ionikos has prevailed in the other.
Apart from Nikos Karelis, it is Vassilis Mantzis who has scored in the last two matches between Ionikos and Panaitolikos.
PAOK-AEK
For the 71st time, the two teams will meet with PAOK at home, with the Thessaloniki team having 32 wins, AEK having won 14 times and 24 of the matches having ended in a draw.
The top result in replays between the two teams is 1-1 with 14 appearances, followed by PAOK’s victories with 1-0 and 2-1 with ten appearances. The greatest victory of the Thessaloniki team is the 5-0 in the 1982-83 season (11′ Koudas, 50 Kostikos, 61′ Chr. Dimopoulos, 70′ Chr. Dimopoulos, 85′ Chr. Dimopoulos).
On the other hand, AEK have managed to win 4-0 in Toumba on April 14, 2008 with Papastathopoulos, Blanco, Lymberopoulos and Kalon scoring the goals.
PAOK’s longest streak has been established since a 2-1 defeat on February 25, 1968 and went 11 games without a defeat, until the 2-1 AEK on September 14, 1980. They recorded six wins and five draws in that time.
PAOK was defeated in New Philadelphia by AEK 2-0 in the First Round of this year’s championship and with this defeat they broke a streak of 13 games in all competitions in both venues without being defeated by AEK. AEK’s last win was on July 1, 2020 for the Stoiximan Playoffs, where they managed to win 2-0 in Toumba. This is also AEK’s last away win over PAOK.
