PAOK’s last training session before the match with AEK was completed with a special appearance, with the small Socrates to give the “present” to Toumba.
Socrates fought a very difficult disease and came out victorious! Tests showed a tumor in the meningecephalitis, however that didn’t stop him from getting on with his life and after lots of chemotherapy he is now fine!
Yesterday, he was at the stadium of Toumba, he was guided around the grounds of his favorite team’s stadium and got to know the football players of the “two-headed team of the North” up close.

“Socrates fought for a long time with the most difficult enemy and defeated him. Tests showed a tumor in the cerebellum. Two surgeries, many chemotherapy treatments, insatiable thirst for life, boundless courage and now everything is fine.
Socrates is recovering and he really wanted to come and meet the players of his favorite team. His wish came true and he is now a member of our family!
Our new friend came to the stadium of Toumba, was shown around the stadium, met the players, got a shirt with his name on it as a gift, scored many goals and had fun with his soul.
