Vangelis Lappas was born on March 28, 1975 and has followed a particularly productive path in goalkeeper advancement. He has many years of experience at both youth and first team level.
From 2010 to 2016 he worked at PAE Panathinaikos and in the methodology from the youth in the first team. Subsequently (2016-2018) he joined Al Dhafra in the United Arab Emirates taking over the development of the first team goalkeepers. At the same time, he had the important role of advancing goalkeepers in all the Gulf countries.
From 2018 to 2019, he took over as head of the Goalkeeper Academy at PAE Olympiacos, being responsible for the philosophy and improvement of everything.
From 2019 to 2022 he was a goalkeeper coach in the first team of PAE OFI.

In his long career he was involved, among others, in the development of Stefanos Kapinos (Aetos Korydallos), Odysseus Vlachodimos (Panathinaikos), Konstantinos Tzolakis and Athanasios Papadoudis (who were promoted to the first team of Olympiakos), Zayed Ahmed (goalkeeper of the National team) UAE) and Devis Epassy (goalkeeper in the Cameroon national team).
He has taken part as a speaker in numerous seminars and events and has a rich written work to present on his subject.
