Another goal from Berisha, with a well-taken penalty in the 60th minute, allowed Augsburg to level the scores, with Davies giving the rekordmeister a three-goal lead again in the 74th minute.
The final score was settled in stoppage time with a goal from Cardona.
Winners left at that at -3 Dortmund and they await the Ruhr Valley derby to see if they remain alone at the top.
In the battle of the four, the Leipzig took an important step by beating Gladbach 3-0 and thus overtaking Union Berlin in 3rd place. The “red bulls” cleaned up the match in the second half, thanks to the goals of Werner (57′), Forsberg (71′ penalty) and Guardiol (80′).
The not Eintracht Frankfurt, stuck at 1-1 with Stuttgart of Dinos Mavropanos (main) and stayed in 6th place. Rode put the “eagles” ahead in the 55th minute, with Silas redeeming the Swabians 20 minutes later.
