The transfer of the official competitive activities of the National Championships by two weeks, which was essentially decided from yesterday after a teleconference with the unions, ratified today by the EEC Board of Directors. Practically, the match of the next weekend is postponed to January 22/23, with the hope that in the coming days there will be a recession in the cases of coronavirus.

With the hope that the 5th epidemic wave of the coronavirus will be the last one and after teleconferences that took place yesterday (03/01) with the teams of the National categories, with the representatives of the Unions, but also with other sports federations, the Board of The EEC decided to postpone the official competitive activities of the National Championships by two weeks.
The match of the two-day 8-9 / 1, with which it was planned to continue each championship, is postponed for the weekend 22-23 / 1, observing of course the evolution of the data throughout the country until then. The transfer of activities also includes the official, ie with referees and secretariat, friendly matches, since the main issue is to avoid any contact between members of different teams.
Regarding the trainings, it is recommended to all the Associations the faithful and absolutely meticulous observance of the Health protocol and the constant monitoring of the changes in it.
The Hellenic Federation will be by the side of all unions for any clarification or assistance they may need. It expresses its confidence in the responsibility of all the people of the unions and the certainty for the greatest possible protection effort so that the return to action is possible as soon as possible.
