Magnuson for derby with AEK: “We are ready for battle, we know that the atmosphere will be difficult”

Statements ahead of tomorrow’s (19/3, 9:30 p.m.) big league derby between AEK and Panathinaikos were made by Hordur Magnussonemphasizing that he and his teammates are ready for “battle”, while he characterized the Union as an excellent team that can achieve a lot.

Unfortunately for them, they lost at home and that’s why I think they will be angrier against us. But we are ready for such a battle. A match against them on a difficult pitch, the atmosphere there is intense, but that will not stop us from beating them and extending their losing streak even further. As I said, AEK finished second in the regular season, but they have a great team that can do a lot of things.”.

As you can see we are first in the regular season, which means we worked very hard to get there.
