Serbia “cleaned” Lithuania with Tadic as a big star!

With the right… they entered the 7th group of the Euro 2024 qualifiers Serbia and Montenegroprevailing 2-0 Lithuania and 1-0 Bulgaria respectively on Friday evening (24/03).

In Belgrade and in “Raiko Mitić”, Serbia had absolutely no problem getting the three points against weak Lithuania. Dragan Stojkovic’s team had the upper hand throughout the match, confirming the title of “favorite”.

A big star for the home team was the 34-year-old Ajax midfielder and captain of the Serbian national team. Dusan Tadic, who in the 16th minute opened the scoring with a close-range shot after Kostic’s turn, while he was the one who in the 53rd minute provided the assist to Vlahovic for the final 2-0.

In the other group game, the Montenegro celebrated a great double in Razgrad against her Bulgaria (0-1). In a fairly even game, Radulovic’s side escaped with the three points thanks to his goal Krstovich in the 70th minute, after a steal in midfield.

As for the OFI midfielder, Marko Bakic, started in the starting line-up for Montenegro, making way for Jovetis at the start of the second half.
