Sergio Koke is threatened with imprisonment again!

The adventures do not stop for the former leader of Mars, Sergio Koke.

The veteran Spanish soccer player, who was released from prison in 2020 due to the drug scandal, is again facing charges from the judiciary. As reported by the Spanish Mundo Deportivo, at the request of the prosecutor, Koke risks a prison sentence of 16 years as the head of a criminal organization involved in the trafficking of prohibited substances.

The trial is scheduled to take place next Monday at the Malaga District Court and 17 other people will sit alongside the former player, including his partner and brother.

The prosecutor argues in his indictment, that Koke allegedly led the organization and was the person who took over the management of the operations and gave the necessary instructions regarding the quantities of drugs, their price, and the way of transporting them.

The competent Ministry points out that in addition to Koke, there is another defendant who held a relevant position in the organization, as he was allegedly responsible for providing financial support for large sums of money.

During the months of the investigation, they formalized numerous vehicle rental contracts with various companies in the industry.
