The regular season at NBA it’s done and we’re getting into…seriously. The action begins immediately with the play in, where eight teams will claim the last four tickets for the playoffs.
The first two matches will take place in the early hours of Wednesday play in: The Heat host the Hawks (2:30 ET) and the winner will play the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs, while the Lakers host the Timberwolves (5:00 ET) and the winner will play the Grizzlies.
Early Thursday, the Raptors host the Bulls (2:00) with the winner playing the loser of the Heat-Hawks early Friday and whichever team emerges playing the Bucks in the first round of the playoffs. Also early Thursday, the Pelicans will face the Thunder (4:30), with the winner playing the loser of Lakers-Timberwolves a day later, and whichever team emerges will find the Nuggets on their way to the playoffs.
The playoffs they will start on Holy Saturday with two matches in good television times for Greece. At 20:00 the Sixers will welcome the Nets, while at 22:30 the Celtics will welcome the team that will emerge from the play ins. One hour after the Resurrection (1:00) Game 1 will take place between the Cavaliers and the Knicks, while at 3:30 on Easter morning the Kings will play the Cavaliers.
The Bucks will begin their playoff push on Easter Sunday, at a time yet to be announced, but probably not in the wee hours of the morning. The Suns-Grizzlies pairing, as well as the Nuggets and Grizzlies will start on Sunday or the early hours of Easter Monday.
