In his own special way and with a shocking post, he wanted to say the last goodbye to Alexander Varimitiadis The Dimitris Haritopoulos.
By posting on his personal Facebook account, he made a touching post, wishing to say goodbye to his friend, who passed away at the age of 29, defeated by terminal illness.
The post in detail:
“I generally don’t like goodbye and condolence posts. They are things that I like with a look at the sky to put them away. For this leventis I will speak only of one thing that he loved so much and perhaps more than all of us put together!
The basketball!
Alex was the classic example of the black ravenous and thirsty dog! With the little talent he had (not that we have more) with hard work, patience, perseverance and a smile even in the most difficult moments he managed to refute those who doubted him. Me too.
And the biggest harm that this disease did to him was that it kept him away from the field. And yet the “unfaithful”, the “thirsty” kept coming back. Again and again!
I have admired great players with great success. But your love for basketball was worth 10 championships. Because this love is what is missing now. You had too much.. Worthy of admiration and respect!
PS always with a smile you horn??? Always;”.
