Its CEO Eintracht FrankfurtAlex Hellman, insists that the striker, Colo Muaniwill cost more than €90 million in the transfer market this summer.
The France international forward has had an incredible season at both club and international level, scoring 21 goals in all competitions for the German side. These performances, as expected, caught the eye of many clubs in Europe. The 24-year-old ace has attracted interest from Napoli, Barcelona, Newcastle, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Bayern Munich the last months.
The Munich team is firmly in the first position to acquire the striker of the German team. The Bavarians have held talks with the player’s representatives over a potential transfer, seeing Kolo Mouani as the ideal replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who left the club last summer and was never replaced by a top-flight.
In light of Bayern’s interest, Hellmann, when asked about Kolo Mouani’s future, stated that a huge fee would be required to sign him. “When I look at the international market, I imagine a different figure for this player, over 90 million euros. My absolute ideal scenario would be for him to stay at Eintracht“, he emphasized.
With these statements, it seems that the German club have no intention of selling their most pivotal player during the summer, unless they get the price they want.
At the same time, Bayern do not want to spend more than 100 million euros on a striker, but the talks, for a possible transfer, are still ongoing.
