His opposition to the EPO’s handling of the venue final of the Novibet Hellenic Cup expressed in a written submission to the Federation’s Committee on Extraordinary Issues o Vangelis Marinakis.
It mentions, among other things, how “you have degraded every process and now want to turn the final into an object of personal bargaining and conciliation.”
Analytically:
“I do not give any authority to anyone to carry out any “consultation” with anyone on a matter that is regulated restrictively in the announcement of the Cup and in any case is not subject to any kind of “approval” by the competing teams.
You have degraded every process and now want to turn the final into an object of personal haggling and conciliation. The decision can only be made by the Executive Committee after listing all the “proposals” you refer to as long as they are allowed by the notice, without any negotiation.”
For its part, the Hellenic Football Federation made the following announcement:
The Emergency Committee of the Hellenic Football Federation, during its meeting today, decided to authorize the president Mr. Panagiotis Baltakos in order to consult with the two finalists of the Novibet Hellenic Cup Final for the definition of the venue.
The above procedure is deemed necessary for the selection of one of the confirmed available pitches that exist for the holding of the Novibet Hellenic Cup Final.
The final selection will be ratified at the Executive Committee meeting on Friday 12 May.
