With a nine-member delegation led by the two-time European champion, Antigoni Drisbiotis, Greece will participate in the European Walking Team Championship, which will be held in Pontebrand, Czech Republic, on Sunday 5/21. The leading Greek athlete will take part in the 20km race, having with her Christina Papadopoulou and Olga Fiaska.
The good news is that Kyriaki Filtisakou overcame the injury she had in Astros, when she was hit by a passing car while she was training, and will compete normally in the 35km race, along with Efi Kourkoutsakis and Sofia Alikanioti.
