Terzis: “I will do everything to succeed as a team and live up to expectations”

About his stay at Aris, but also about the last game of the year against Panathinaikos, he spoke Tolis Terzis.

The Greek coach emphasized that he will do everything in his power to live up to the management’s expectations, while adding that he would like his team to end this season on a positive note.

“We have spoken and agreed with the president (including Theodoros Karypides) and the technical director, Mr. Palikoutsa since last week. The relevant announcement will be made at the technical director’s press conference next week. I will do everything in my power to live up to the management’s expectations and the world can be sure that I will do everything to succeed as a team. We will talk about the rest after the press conference of our manager.”



Naturally, he was asked about the planning for the next year, claiming that relevant preparatory work has already been done. “We’ve started all this for some time with the manager, but we’d better say more next week,” he said when asked about both departures and renewals. “We have spoken about Mr. Palikoutsa. In the last few days we have repeated meetings and we keep talking about this issue. And for those who are in the team and we want to keep them, but also for those who will leave, as well as for the transfers we are planning. (Regarding renewals) the preparatory work has been done. The technical director has long since started the contacts with the children, who we want to stay. We are waiting for the agreements to be completed.”



Regarding the game against Panathinaikos, he argued that player returns increase his options: “Mathematically, Panathinaikos is in the title game. We want to end the season positively. We did our preparation this week. The children are in good condition. We also have some returns. We hope everything will go well, play a good game and claim the victory… The evaluation of our players has already been done. We are given the opportunity to use some children, who have not had much participation time so far. So they are not as tired compared to the others, who took a lot of time to participate. We are waiting to see what will happen with Fabiano and Palma, who had problems in the previous period, in order to assemble the best possible eleven for this particular game”.
