“AS ARIS and the Women’s Volleyball department announce the start of the collaboration with Manolis Skoulikaris, who is the new coach of our team.
Manolis Skoulikaris was born on September 28, 1969 in Thessaloniki and has many years of experience both as a coach and as a volleyball player. In addition to ARIS, in which he played in the 1995-1996 season, he also played in Ethnikos Alexandroupolis (from where he started his first professional steps), Campaniakos, Makedonikos and Aetos.
The 54-year-old coach began his coaching career in the infrastructure divisions of Makedonikos Neapolis, while from 1996-1999 he coached the women’s division of Makedonikos Halastras in the A’ Category. Among others, he was a coach at Iraklis, Makedonikos Neapolis, Panathletikos Sykeon, Makedones Axios, Anatolia (2005-2010), DASO Oreokastro and Champions Pefkon.
In the year 2009-2010 he was the coach of the ARIS Women’s Volleyball team in the A’ Category, while from 2012 to 2018 he sat on the bench of the Axios Macedonian Women’s team. The next two years (2018-2020) found him at the helm of the Pine Champions Women’s team, while in 2019-2021 he worked in the Pre League.
