Condemning defeat for Progressive – Victory of hope for Iraklis of Larisa!

Progressive came one step closer to relegation! The “crissini” experienced a painful home defeat by Kalamata (1-2) and with three matches remaining, they are -5 from salvation and things look too difficult for them.

Arnarellis opened the scoring for the guests in the 42nd minute, with Rova striking in stoppage time of the first half for 2-0. Progressive reduced in the 67th minute with a penalty by Kapnidis, went all the way forward to look for the equalizer but failed, with Kalamata having the chance for a third goal in the 87th minute with the crossbar of Pasha but failing to do so and the pro of 2-1 to remain until the final.

In a satisfying game, PAO Ruf and Ilioupoli were tied 2-2, while OF Ierapetra prevailed 2-0 over Episkopi and AEK B’ with an emphatic 4-1 over Panachaiki.
