He came, he saw and… he left Everton o Ruben Vinagre.
The former left back of Olympiakos formally left the Merseyside team in which he played on loan from Sporting Lisbon.
During his stay at Goodison Park, the Portuguese made just four appearances and thus returns to the “lions” of Lisbon after the “sweets” did not activate the option for his purchase.
In fact, Vinagre, despite the few minutes of his participation in the Everton shirt, said goodbye to the club through a post on instagram writing:
“Thank you Evertonians! It was a pleasure to wear this jersey last season! I’m sad that I didn’t have the chance to contribute more, but I did everything I could. I wish our story was different!
I’m really glad we managed to keep this great club in the Premier League, because we deserved it more than that!
I have no doubt that Everton will return to their rightful place, they are a great club and full of history!
